Accreditations & Training

At Hunt Electrical we are very proud of our training and health and safety arrangements. We hold comprehensive Employers and Public Liability Insurance and a full range of Risk Assessments and Method Statements available for all aspects of our work are available.

We are members of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) and the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC). We meet the rigorous standards set by them and are subject to annual inspections to assure you of our continued compliance.

All our employees receive regular ‘tool box talks’ to keep them up to date on current issues and refresher talks on previously covered topics. Our Health and Safety documents are reviewed annually and all staff re-acquainted with them.

Our First Aiders are trained by St John Ambulance for Emergency First Aid at Work and are renewed every three years.

The training our engineers undergo includes IPAF Tower Access equipment courses and PASMA issued Tower training. All of our engineers and apprentices have completed the ECS Health and Safety Assessment and have attended specialist EV charger installation training.

All electricians have a valid DBS certificate which is renewed every three years. Anyone awaiting their DBS check will always be accompanied on site by a person holding a clear certificate.
